The voice
of Artistes Unlimited is impressed upon varied projects with
a gamut of artistes and organizations. Our catalogue of work
includes projects with:
BharatBala
Productions: Worked with Vishal Bharadwaj and Clinton
Cerejo on an upcoming project “Saare Jahan Se Achha”.
Shubha
Mudgal: Featured as a guest artiste at Odyssey,
AU’s Festival of Music, August 2004. AU Members have
also worked with on studio recordings with the artiste.
Euphoria:
Members have performed live with the band and feature
on their latest album ‘Mehfuz‘.
Kem Trivedi– Silk Route: worked with the
artiste on a collaborative performance commemorating 350 years
of the Red Fort
Orange
Street: Featured on their album.
Parikrama:
Guest artiste at Odyssey (Cadence), AU's Festival
of Music, August 2004. Performed an adaptation of Parikrama's
highly acclaimed
track "But it Rained" with an AU ensemble of 80
singers.
Them
Clones: Featured as a Guest artiste at
Odyssey (Melange), AU's
Festival of Music, August 2004. The band performed one of
their most
insightful tracks "In the Name of God", complemented
by a vocal bed of
harmonies, in true AU style.
The International Youth Congress (Rome):
In March 2005, a presentation on AU and a selection of our
self-compositions were played at the Congress.
Stop-Gaps
Festival of Festive Music: Held
at the NCPA Tata Theatre in Mumbai, in December 2005. AU was
the only ensemble invited from New Delhi.
At AU, we believe in using the power
of Art, and Music in particular, to support causes that we
feel strongly about. Our collaborative initiatives include
cause-based concerts with the following organisations:
CanSupport:
A charitable organization that enables people with
advanced cancer and their families to make informed choices
and decisions and to receive appropriate physical, emotional,
social and spiritual support.
Terry
Fox Foundation & Canadian High Commission:
A Trust that organizes the annual Terry Fox Run, in memory
of Terry Fox, a young Canadian diagnosed with bone cancer,
who ran a “Marathon of Hope” across Canada, to
raise money, and awareness, for cancer research.
British
Council: Beyond Borders initiative - A
regional project providing a platform for young people from
Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and the UK to come
together, to share and address issues related to identity,
diversity and active citizenship and is entirely designed
and run by young people between 18-22 years.
Jagori
a women's training, documentation, communication
and resource centre that was established in 1984 with the
aim of carrying feminist consciousness to a wider audience
using creative media.
SAHMAT
– Safdar Hashmi Memorial Trust: A platform of artists
and scholars from diverse fields, which holds the conviction
that all creative endeavour in India, both traditional and
contemporary, upholds the values of cultural pluralism and
secularism.
WISCOMP–
Women in Security, Conflict Management and Peace – WISCOMP
organizes an annual Conflict Transformation workshops organized
for students of India and Pakistan.
Art
of Living: The Foundation seeks to foster
a global change inspiring people to move from limited identifications
of nationality, race and religion to a broader understanding
of the unity of human life, of a One World Family, which can
help bring about a more peaceful world.

A non- profit Trust, committed to empowering its Young
Partners into being proactive members of society. It works
to form a vital bridge between a child and his community,
expanding the boundaries of education to nclude social equity
and justice.
Make–A–Wish
Foundation (India Chapter):
The Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening
medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope,
strength and joy.
The
American Centre: Part of the
United States Embassy, the American Centre organises various
cultural events in the city.
Alliance
Francaise: Employs cultural, teaching and administrative
activities in India, to maintain and develop the usage of
the French language and the interest for Francophone cultures.
Friends
of Music: Run by Teamwork, FOM concerts have provided
a much needed platform for artistes for many years.
NFI
Awards: National Foundation for India grants Media Fellowships
